Devin and Shannon Long

Send a Note Start a Campaign

Devin joined NSP as a Sophomore at Biola University in 2014. After graduating with a B.A. in Biblical Studies, he joined our full-time staff team. As a native of the Sacramento area, his initial interest with the ministry was to take it back to his hometown. Since then, he has been given several expansion projects to embark on and began serving in the role of Expansion Director in 2017. Devin enjoys trying foods, cooking foods, and eating foods with friends. He also enjoys board games, music, and theology.

Born and raised in the Wisconsin/Illinois stateline area, Shannon saw the need for the gospel to be shared at her high school firsthand, but was never fully equipped to go out and share her faith. Shannon joined the NSP team in 2014 as a freshman at Biola University and continued to serve in the Biola Chapter throughout her college years in hopes to challenge more students to strategically pursue this mission field. It was during this time where she met her husband Devin. After graduating with her B.A. in Psychology from Biola, Shannon officially moved to Southern California to join staff with NSP, marrying Devin a year later. Shannon loves dogs, Chick Fil A, all things hospitality, and wants to send a special shoutout to her church family at Calvary Chapel La Mirada for all their support.

Devin and Shannon met through working together in NSP and are now married, working together and serving in their local church, Calvary Chapel La Mirada, in the worship team and the youth group.

Meant for More

NSP has launched the Meant for More Campaign with the goal of giving 1 million students the opportunity to hear the gospel in the next 1,000 days. To fund this mission, we are praying and asking the Lord to provide $8.4 million. We invite you to consider giving a gift today and being a part of bringing the gospel to public students across the nation.
